Here’s a rough guide to what we’re expecting over the next week:

Saturday: So clean all day!

Swell – Single SW swell with long 14-15 sec period, meaning clean conditions all day. We’re expecting 1-2ft at Addis and Cosy, 2-3ft Torquay, Ocean Grove, and Urquharts Bluff, 3-4ft at Juc, and 13th, 4-5ft at Guvvos, and 5-6ft at Bells, Winki, and Southside.

Wind – Swinging from cross-offshore (WNW) to onshore in the late arvo and evening. Dead mild all day though so shouldn't impact anything.

Tide – Starting to return to a nice little swing. Lows of 0.7m at 6:01am and 0.9m at 6:53pm, with a high of 2.0m at 12:46pm.

Sunday: Lovely and picking up in size a touch - a couple of double ups possible.

Swell – We mostly have a single SW swell that’s picking up a tiny bit across the day. There is a tiny SW secondary on the forecast, that’s picking up in size as the day goes on, so we’ll likely see more double ups into the arvo and evening - it's very small though so they should only be here or there. We’re expecting 1-2ft at Roady (low tide) Fishos (high) and Whites, 2-3ft at Addis and Cosy, 3-4ft at Torq, OG, and Urqs, 4-5ft at Juc and 13th, 5-6ft at Guvs, and 6-7ft at Bells, Winki, and Southside. We may see a foot less is size very first thing in the morning but it should fill in pretty quickly.

Wind – Cross-offshore (WNW) in the morning, swing across the day and coming onshore from around 3pm onwards but again dead mild. Shouldn't impact at all.

Tide – Low of 0.7m at 6:48am and high of 2.0m at 1:21pm. A lovely little swing across the day.

Monday: Clean and lush!

Swell – We have a single SW swell with 13-14 sec period, so we’re expecting very clean waves all day today. We’re hoping for 1-2ft at Roady (low tide) Fishos (high) and Whites, 2-3ft at Addis and Cosy, 3-4ft at Torq, OG, and Urqs, 4-5ft at Juc and 13th, 5-6ft at Guvs, and 6-7ft at Bells, Winki, and Southside.

Wind – Cross-offshore (WNW) pretty much all day and again dead. No impact.

Tide – Lovely swing. Low of 0.6m at 7:28am and high of 2.1m at 1:54pm.

Tuesday: Swell is clean though losing a little size, and the wind is an issue this arvo - best for a morning surf. Dawn patrol social surf at 7am this morning!

Swell – We still have a single SW swell with looong 15 sec period, so another clean day of waves out there! In the morning, we’re expecting 1-2ft at Roady (low), Fishos (high) and Whites, 2-3ft at Addis and Cosy, 3-4ft at Torq, OG, and Urqs, 4-5ft at Juc and 13th, 5-6ft at Guvs, and 6-7ft at Bells, Winki, and Southside. We're expecting 1-2ft less across all beaches by 6pm.

Wind – Offshore all day and mild first thing in the morning (perfect for a social surf 😉) but picking up across the morning and really starting to push through from around midday onwards. Certainly not a deal breaker, but getting close to borderline. Expect steepness in the waves and for them to be harder to paddle on to in the afternoon.

Tide – Another lovely swing. Low of 0.6m at 8:06am and high of 2.1m at 2:26pm.

Wednesday: Lush out there with growing swell!

Swell – We still have a single SW swell with looong 15-16 sec period - another lush day of waves! We’re expecting 1-2ft at Roady (low), Fishos (high) and Whites, 2-3ft at Addis and Cosy, 3-4ft at Torq, OG, and Urqs, 5-6ft at Juc and 13th, 6-7ft at Guvs, and 7-8ft at Bells, Winki, and Southside. We're expecting 1ft less across all beaches very first thing in the morning as the swell fills in.

Wind – Cross-offshore (WNW) to cross-shore (W) all day and pretty mild all day with the occasional strong gust coming through. Shouldn't impact the waves much at all but if you're worried, you can head to a beach with protection on that side (Addis, Torq, Urqs, Juc)

Tide – Low of 0.6m at 8:43am and high of 2.1m at 2:58pm.

Thursday: Most of the day is lush, but the wind is looking rough from around 3pm.

Swell – We still have a single SW swell with lush 15 sec period which should give us clean conditions all over. We’re expecting 1-2ft at Roady (low), Fishos (high) and Whites, 2-3ft at Addis and Cosy, 3-4ft at Torq, OG, and Urqs, 5-6ft at Juc and 13th, 6-7ft at Guvs, and 7-8ft at Bells, Winki, and Southside. We're expecting 1ft less across all beaches very last thing before sunset, but it should be pretty solid for most of the day.

Wind – Cross-offshore (WNW) all day and mild in the morning with occasional stronger gusts. The wind is forecast to pick up massively from around 3pm onwards, verging into dangerous territory. The waves will be steep, hollow, and harder to paddle into. Keep an eye on this forecast as we get closer - the wind may mellow across the week and then it'll be lush all day.

Tide – Low of 0.7m at 9:20am and high of 2.1m at 3:30pm.

Friday: Ouff she's looking solid out there! Touch of wind still about.

Swell – Solid single SW swell pushing in with nice 14 sec period so clean and big - most likely powerful. We’re expecting 2-3ft at Roady (low), Fishos (high) and Whites, 4-5ft at Addis and Cosy, 5-6ft at Torq, OG, and Urqs, 6-8ft at Juc and 13th, 8-10ft at Guvs, and 10-11ft at Bells, Winki, and Southside. Cosy, OG, and Guvs will likely be washouts - or very close too. Addis may just hold.

Wind – Cross-offshore all day and on the mild to moderate side. Gusts are still forecast to be a bit strong, but not a deal breaker otherwise. Seeking out spots with a little protection should leave you with the cleanest possible options for the day.

Tide – Low of 0.7m at 9:59am and high of 2.1m at 4:04pm.

A note about the surf forecast: like all weather forecasts, the further away the prediction is, the more likely it is to change. Most forecasts are only vaguely accurate about four hours in advance, which is why we try and choose the locations for our surf lessons and events the night before to give us the best chance possible to have an accurate read on what will be happening out there. This forecast is to help give you an idea of where you might want to head but please check the forecast again the night before and morning of your planned surf to see if there have been any changes. Always please do a conditions check at the actual beach, because a forecast is still a forecast, and it can just be plain wrong.

If you’d like a daily email or text with detailed information on the forecast for next day (so as accurate as we can get it), you can sign up for our Tomorrow’s Forecast service via the button.

A note on wave size: we talk about the size of the waves in relation to the face or front - how big it would be if you are standing on your surfboard at the base of the wave face looking back at it. For reference, 1-2ft would be roughly knee to thigh (maybe waist) high waves.

That’s it for this week, legends! See you out in the water soon! 🌊✌️

As always, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
