Join Honu Honi Surf Camp for an unforgettable surf adventure through the Maldives, exploring a new stretch of paradise each day in search of uncrowded waves, warm water, and good times. With our own private yacht as home base, a surf guide on board and a chef taking care of every meal, all you need to do is paddle out, explore, and soak it all in.
From the breaks around Gulhi to the remote beauty of Vaavu, Mulah and Kuda Huvadhoo, we’ll travel between islands chasing the best conditions, with plenty of time for snorkelling, island adventures, and enjoying the magic of the Maldives between surfs.
This is more than a surf trip. It’s 10 days of adventure, connection and chasing waves in one of the most beautiful places on earth, with the best humans.
Inclusions:
Accommodation on first (Tue 3rd) and last (Fri 13th) night in Malé, close to the airport
All transfers between airport, hotels, and marina
10-day surf private yacht trip
All meals while on yacht, prepared by chef. Can cater to any dietaries.
Surf guide on board yacht to help direct us to the best spots to surf each day
Transport through several islands to surf different breaks (Malé Gulhi 2 days, Vaavu Atoll 2 days, Mulah 3 days, Kuda Huvadhoo 2 days)
Opportunities to snorkel and adventure on atolls along the way outside of surfing. :)
Not included:
Flights. Our team will be flying out of Melbourne on Mon 2nd, arriving Malé on Tue 3rd and departing Malé on Sat 14th, landing back in Melbourne on Sun 15th.
Surfboards and other equipment (we'll be flying over with ours). You could potentially hire there - please contact us if you wish to do this as it will need to be pre-arranged so we can load it onto the yacht before we depart.
Any alcohol.
Meals on the first and last day when not on the yacht.
Any other incidentals.
Prices:
Private room (single occupancy): $5,800 per person
Twin share room: $4,400 per person
Surfing Ability
To come along on this trip, you should be comfortable sitting and paddling on your board (we won’t get the option to rest with feet on the ground at most breaks as it’ll be reef and not sand), comfortable with surf etiquette, and able to angle your take off left and right along the face of a wave. Beyond that, we are happy for any level who is willing to have a go.
Swimming Ability
We’d recommend that you are able to tread water for 3-5 minutes unassisted, and comfortably swim 100m unassisted to come on this trip.
