Honu Honi Turns 7! Come Celebrate With Us!

Honu Honi Surf Camp is turning 7!

Seven incredible years of waves, friendships, confidence-building, laughter, adventures, and so much more, all shared with one seriously amazing community, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than spending the day with you!

Join us on Sunday 2nd August 2026 for an epic birthday celebration, kicking off with a social surf at 11:30am. We'll spend around 1.5 hours sharing waves, cheering each other on, and soaking up all the good vibes before heading up the beach for the most important part - birthday cake!

Pack your favourite picnic snacks and stick around after the surf for a relaxed community picnic. It's the perfect chance to catch up with old friends, meet some new surf buddies, and celebrate everything that makes the Honu Honi community so special.

And because it wouldn't be a birthday without presents, we'll also have some awesome prizes up for grabs, including Honu Honi merch, sunscreen packs, and even surf lesson giveaways!

We'll confirm the exact location via email the night before, based on the surf conditions, but it's already looking like we'll be treated to beautiful waves and plenty of sunshine.

The event is completely free, and everyone is welcome! Bring your favourite humans along and help us celebrate seven years of surf, smiles, and community.
