Casual/ Part-Time Surf Instructor 

Join our team at Honu Honi Surf Camp in Torquay! We're looking for a confident, safety-focused, and fun surf instructor to teach adults of all levels, from beginners to intermediate/ advanced surfers. You can also pick up extra hours around the camp hosting meals, helping with set up and pack down, or doing admin hours to keep the back end all flowing smoothly.

Requirements:
🌊 Surfing Australia coaching qualification (min. Level 1 Foundations Coach)
🌊 Bronze Medallion or equivalent surf life-saving qualification
🌊 CPR and Senior First Aid
🌊 Surfing Australia Membership
🌊 Driver’s licence and own car
🌊 Availability on at least one weekend day per week (preference will be given to candidates available on Sundays).
🌊 Prior experience as a head surf coach/ instructor in charge.

Perks:
☀️ Above award wages starting at $35/hour.
☀️ Weekend penalty rates - Saturdays $37.48/ hour, Sundays $45.24, Pubic Holidays $64.63/ hour
☀️ Permanent ongoing part-time role available for the right person - full time equivalent salary $79,635 per annum.
☀️ Great small team environment.

It would be a bonus for us if you have qualifications and experience in teaching yoga, fitness, or mobility style classes too, though this is not necessary. Same goes for social media experience.
