our quiver!
Our foamies (beginner foam boards) are all
G Boards Australia. They are designed to be closer to a regular surfboard with their curvier shape and tapered rails, compared to other softboards on the market. They're also a local board supplier based here in Torquay!

We have foamies available in the below sizes:
7'6ft, 8'6ft & 9ft

We have a variety of fibreglass boards on offer including:
6'2 Modern Highline Shortboard
7'4 Modern Blackfish
9'1 Soulty Life Longboard
Started by a 3rd generation surf family here in Torquay, Gboards have been making surfing fun, safe and accessible to everyone since 1999. The founder Paul, was introduced to surfing by his grandfather, who was a key local figure in the Australian Surfing industry who was one of the first to surf Bells Beach in 1930, a founding member of Torquay Boardriders and Torquay Surf Club and even helped fund the early stage of the development of the Great Ocean Road.
Gboards are designed to be closer to a regular surfboard with their curvier shape and tapered rails, compared to other softboards on the market. Due to their soft cell foam technology, they also very durable meaning less softboards in landfill and are much easier to repair.
Gboards are the supplier for all our foam boards, most of you will have the pleasure of learning to surf on.

we want to keep you warm!
We know that keeping you warm in the water, means more time spent in the surf! We have a full range of 3/2 and 4/3 wetsuits available in all sizes from a size 4 through to a XXL.

We also have a full size range of booties to keep the toes warm too!

We have started sourcing our wetsuits from needessentials, however our range also include wetsuits and booties from Rip Curl, O'Neill, and Peak.
Founded in 2013, Ryan Scanlon set out to start a different kind of company. One that doesn’t promote over consumption or buying more than you need. Focusing on what is well made, responsibly sourced, long lasting and useful to it’s core.
Their wetsuits are non-branded, designed to only include what’s needed and are all Fair Trade certified with a range of natural rubber wetsuits.
We use needessentials for our wetsuits here at camp, to ensure you stay nice and warm while having the most fun surfing.

BREATHE IN
BREATHE OUT
You will have access to a yoga mat throughout you stay with us here at camp. You will find you mat in your room, which you are welcome to use inside or outside.

There are some beautiful, peaceful places from the beach out the front of camp, the nearby river or a nearby lookout to practice outside of your yoga classes.
So much time and effort has gone into this surf camp.

I would 10/10 recommend it to anyone who is keen on learning or improving at surfing. I feel super lucky to be part of the Honu Honi family and sad I don't have more time to join the socials and social surfing Becky plans! Thanks so much for my week!

We believe that surfing is an escape to tune out the noise and tune in with what really matters, and we encourage you to seek that connection during your stay. We're here for our soul fam.
